ASTAXANTHIN

While vitamin C remains a popular remedy to boost immunity and combat the common cold and other seasonal ailments, groundbreaking research has shown 𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐗𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍 (asta-zan-thin), a rare, deep red-colored carotenoid found in microalgae, to be perhaps the most powerful antioxidant available in nature:

•100 times stronger than vitamin E
•550 times stronger than green tea
•800 times stronger than CoQ10
•6,000 times stronger than vitamin C

Astaxanthin helps protect eyes and skin from UV A and B damage by quenching singlet and triplet oxygen. It helps combat free radical damage to muscles and helps reduce the buildup of lactic acid that causes post-workout soreness.

𝙁𝙪𝙣 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩: Astaxanthin is what makes salmon’s flesh pink, and it is also what gives salmon their seemingly supernatural endurance – the ability to swim upstream for up to 2,000 miles!

Actually, it can be of benefit in a couple ways:

  1. It can support endurance.
  2. It can help balance lactic acid.
  3. It may aid the body’s response to inflammation.
  4. It can help with skin elasticity.
  5. It may help protect the skin from the sun.

The thing is...where you get it matters.

If you get it from a good source, you’ll have enough of it flowing through your body to make a real difference in how you feel every day!!
